Please stay out of the sun while your tattoo is healing. The sun or tanning beds will have adverse affects on the color and healing of your tattoo. After your tattoo is healed we recommend that you use a good sun block when you are going to expose your tattoo to the sun or a tanning bed.
Please follow these instructions for your tattoo care; it’s your responsibility to care for your tattoo and keep it healthy!
Understand that infection is always possible even with the best preventative care. In case of infection please consult your health care professional. Signs of infection include excessive redness; yellowish discharge may also come out of the area.
The bandage that has been applied to your tattoo should remain on about an hour. This will ensure that your tattoo has a good clean start in the healing process.
After removing the bandage wash the area with anti-bacterial soap and your fingers to remove all ointment, dried blood and inks, never use a washcloth. It is important that you treat your tattoo as a wound; your skin has been punctured by a needle numerous times and is a wound.
